Any audio or video file to .rvoice for the OpusVoice plugin — sound in Rust voice chat. Conversion runs right in your browser.

Settings

24 kHz mono is Rust voice chat's native rate (at 48 kHz the NPC stays silent). Settings apply to new files.

OpusVoice plugin

Plays .rvoice in Rust voice chat (Carbon server). Put the file into carbon/plugins/.

Files are not uploaded or stored anywhere: everything is decoded and encoded on your computer, and the .rvoice is downloaded right away.

How to use

  1. Put the .rvoice into carbon/data/OpusVoice/ on a server with the OpusVoice plugin.
  2. In game: /vplay <name> [me|all|near|player], /vstop [id|all], /vlist.
  3. The ▶ button plays it as players will hear it (after Opus compression).
